Cape Advisors is a privately held real estate development, investment and management firm, formed by Curtis Bashaw and Craig Wood in 1995. Our project focus is opportunistic in nature where we believe our experience, contacts and skills will add value to a project.

As principals, at the present time we have over $300 million in projects in various stages of development in New York, New Jersey and Utah. These projects include over 2,000 residential units and single family home lots, 200,000 square feet of retail, 250,000 square feet of office space and four hotels. Our current deals range in size from $5 million to $85 million.

Our experience includes office and mixed use projects, single and multi-family residential projects, hotels and conference centers, land development, retail and festival retail projects and adaptive re-use projects. This broad product background allows us to draw on a wide range of experience from our executives and promotes creativity in solving problems. We believe in restorative development principles, using redevelopment and new construction in a manner that creates value for the surrounding neighborhood and community as well as for the project itself.

Our goal is to target a select group of opportunities where a flow of creative approaches, objective analysis, and an ability to make transactions happen will maximize investment returns and create long term investor wealth through the building of a portfolio of assets.
